Girls growing up

It’s been more than captivating to see how Berryz Kobo girls have been growing up during these years they have been together. Soon they are celebrating BK’s 6th Anniversary. That day is of course 3rd of March. It was the day in 2004 when BK’s debut single “Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai” was released. Six years, can you believe it! It’s a long time but almost like yesterday.

I find it quite interesting to compare old and new photographs of Berryz Kobo girls. How bright kids turn to teens and then young attractive ladies.

This compilation I picked here comtains two official photo sets. Most recent photos are from one of the BK’s ANNEX solo events sets and those old ones are related to group’s second album “Dai 2 Seichouki” which was release on November 2005. So the time gap between these sets is about four years.

What you think, who’s changed most?

Warehouse Songs

It happened once again. Now with Buono!s new Our Songs. So famiiar story indeed. When I first time listened a short radio rip preview of this song I thought Tsunku had finally done an average song for Buono! … by mistake of course.

After watching short PV prview and now full version tens of times I can say that Our Songs is not an average song in any Hello! Project standards. It’s hard to say anything about Buono! standards because there is so few  “I want to skip over this” songs in Buono!s roster. Ehhh, is there any? I’m afraid there isn’t.

And again I didn’t have patience to wait for my copy of Our Songs to arrive. Got a crappy Our Songs ltd bonus DVD rip from H!Online tracker last night and been watching it now about ten times. I must share some captures I took from that clip because I think girls look extremely cool in those shooting scenes done in warehouse like interior.

Just stunning!

Wheeeaaaauuuuiiiieeee!

There really are times when Momo is a quiet beauty . . .

. . . and times when Miya is moonstruck.

“Do I look BAD enough?”

OK Airi, the model deal is yours.

Voting is done and International Wota, our collective site reviewing J-pop/rock blog posts on daily basis, has now announced the results of The 2009 Intl Wota Awards. In Best Eyecandy or “Worship” Blog category our B.K.I. got so much votes that we made our way to the podium. Wow! Third place it is and you can be sure that I’m very pleased about this achievement. Arigato to IW and to all you wonderful people who voted for B.K.I. It feels like meeting Miya… well almost like that. [bows deep]

Cool Rockin’ Miya is from ChrNo (member @ jphip forum) and I must say again that all Miya, Buono! & Berryz works he has done are super kakkoii. What you think about these drawings?

Time to take a closer look at B.K.I. site statistics.

Trend is promising when I look at the numbers of visitors accessing this site. Last month average visitor count was 362 visitors / day which made December our most alive month so far. This month’s unfinished statistics show even better numbers.

And where do B.K.I.’s visitors come from? Top 20 Countries in December 2009 were:
1 unknown (org, net, com etc.)
2 United States
3 France
4 Indonesia
5 Japan
6 Thailand
7 Great Britain
8 Taiwan
9 Germany
10 Malaysia
11 Australia
12 Canada
13 Singapore
14 Netherlands
15 Hong Kong
16 Brazil
17 Philippines
18 Sweden
19 Mexico
20 Spain

During January 2010 we have so far had 12 comments from 8 users (atica, Tae, morning_berryz, ariellekara, Luna-Rox, azuric014, higashi and Rickker708) and 5 ping backs, most from International Wota. I’m not saying anything now because you sure know what I mean.

Berryz Kobo Peacekeeping Force’s Chief Operations Officer Natsuyaki Miyabi in action. Is pink camouflage this spring’s hot new fashion trend? At least our officer looks cool in it.
