Buono! on Oricon Chart

by zush

How high “Hatsukoi Cider / DEEP MIND” ltd. edition single climbed on Oricon Singles Chart after the day it was released? Highest position the single reached was 4th on January 19. right after it’s release date. On Weekly Chart (Jan 16. – Jan 22.) it took 7th place with 10.892 sold copies.

7th place is not bad but as it has been these days sales figures could show much higher numbers for Hello! Project asrtists than for example these 10.892 sold new Buono! singles. “Hatsukoi Cider / DEEP MIND” is sadly the second worst sold single in Buono!’s history. Only group’s previous single “Natsu Dakara!” sold worse with 10.133 copies during it’s release week. Buono!’s best first week seller has been their 2nd single “Renai Rider” with 30.268 copies.

It would be quite interesting to know how Buono! and other H!P artists are selling outside Japan and how much non-Japanese people are purchasing H!P related items from Japan, Hong Kong and various western stores. I guess it could be almost impossible to get exact figures about the total sales from the western world.

Total Randomness #12

by zush

Here’s Rii with Caroline Charonplop Kyarypamyupamyu. And who’s she thern? A wellknown Harajuku fashion blogger, model and nowadays also a singer. Today (Jan 25.) Kyarypam posted this snap to her blog telling they were shooting photos to KERA magazine. Also she said Risako is the prettiest human being she had met so far. Nicely said.

Shiroi Berryz Kobo.

To be honest I’m not excited about these new “Ai no Album 8″ outfits. Just saying that those dresses are too grannyish and unflattering. Is it only me who thinks so??

Momo and Sayu Dragon Nest cosplaying. Sweet!

Buono! LIVE 2012 “R*E*A*L” tour starts from Yokohama BLITZ on January 28. and girls are getting their set ready for the kick off. Last two concerts are on February 25. at Zepp Tokyo. And, as you know, there in the middle they go to Paris.

Then some recent magazine pages with Berryz girls:

The most unlikely thing to happen: Momo goes fishing.

Maa as a fashion model.

Kumai-chan looks great once again on this Mac People page. Airi not bad either.

Buono! roxx again

by zush

I’m saying this half seriously and half joking that with their new special six poster set Buono! positions themselves to the history of rock’n'roll. I see these posters as a homage to the great names of western rock bands. They have chosen six album covers from the rebellious and outstanding groups and remade them to go with Buono! girls.

What’s interesting and excites me a lot is the fact that I like all those western bands more or less. As my musical roots are deep in the punk rock I’m so happy they have “plagiarized” art works from such bands as The Clash, Ramones and The Jam.

Today I got my “Hatsukoi Cider / DEEP MIND” ltd. edition single and as a bonus CDJapan sent me one of those remade retro posters. I think that this The Jam adaption is so cool. But I would also like to have those five other versions because they all look freaking awesome.

The Who: My Generation, The Beatles: HELP, The Clash: 1st album, Ramones: Anthology, The Jam: In The City and Elvis Cosello: My Aim Is True.

Shiatsu! TIME

by zush

Every now and then girls from Hello! Project have visited shiatsu therapists and yesterday’s HelloPro! TIME showed us Chii and Yurina getting some foot shiatsu. Yurina took that massaging very calmly whereas Chii’s reactions were quite opposite. If you have got any this kind of shiatsu treatment you know that it could be quite “painful” when therapist’s finger presses the right spots on your sole.

Foot shiatsu wasn’t the only method they “tortured” Chii. After her feet it was her face that got covered with acupuncture needles. I wonder how Chii felt afterwards. Better than before??
