It’s nice to be extremely excited. One hour ago I got this Berryz Kobo’s new MADAYADE PV and I’m still so hyper that I hardly can go to bed although it’s over 2.30 am and really my bedtime.

Five reasons to be excited:
1) The Song is good (from Tsunku with Hirata Shouichirou’s arrangement).
2) The PV is excellent with 2 different sets.
3) The Wardrobe is cool. Office ladies and 60′s/70′s style party girls.
4) The Girls are hotter than ever. And I mean all of ‘em.
5) The Dance is HOT.

Now I really understand how high-priced, or should I say over-priced, those best seats for Berryz Kobo concerts can be. Of course you can get BK tickets also at much lower prices but now we are talking about (almost) front row and center seats.

I was curious to see how high bidding offers could go when the item at Yahoo Japan Auctions was a evening ticket to BK’s Fujishi Bunka Kaikan Rozé Theater concert on 1st of November. Ticket allows the bid winner to get seat number 18 – 23 on first floor, third row. You don’t need any binoculars to see girls from that seat.

Original selling price for that ticket was Yen 5250 = USD 52 = Euro 39. It’s quite a reasonable price even compared to concert ticket prices here in Finland.

But that kind of price is not reality when there is bloody fight going on at Yahoo Japan Auctions. For this ticket winning bid was Yen 134000 = USD 1325 = Euro 988. Now that’s what I call a valuable seat which this bid winner got today. If we expect concert to last about 100 minutes then we can say that the value of one minute is slightly over USD 13. And this is not even front row!

Actually this Yahoo seller had two BK tickets (ticket combo, nearby seats) for bidding. So he is getting total Yen 268000 = USD 2650 = Euro 1977 from these pieces of paper. I must say: Quite a reasonable profit he gets.
