The return of pure+

Hello! Project Digital Books Vol. 49 has 118 leftover photos from Risako Sugaya’s second photo book pure+. Although these photos did not qualified into pure+ that doesn’t mean they are bad shots. In many cases Digital Books editions have many cool alternative versions of those pictures published in official printed books. And some of these leftovers are even better than the original ones.

I don’t know why, but every time I see these “swamp” photos, I think Rii looks just a little bit like Juliette Lewis there.

Rii was very charmed by the Okinawa sunset when these two photos were taken. Soft red sunlight makes Rii so lovely.

Again that Juliette Lewis look!

Following three photos are from previously unseen Okinawa session.

Helium Girl

I’ve been watching Momo’s DVD which comes as a bonus with her latest Photo Book Momo no Mi. We all know Momo as a helium filled girl. Always laughing and always making funny and sometimes also kind of weird jokes.

But as much as I love this funny entertaining side of Momo I find her even more interesting and appealing when she is more calm, smiling gently and just being there.

Now we learn to know what kind of things Momo loves.

The intimacy of the moment.

“Hey, this fridge is empty like my stomach! Let’s get some yakisoba.”

“I want to fly!” (The wind was strong on that day.)

Momo, there is still one thing you must learn about driving a car. When you drive, don’t ever sleep.

Making Okinawa puri-kuras.

Momo’s first golf lesson: Feel the grass.

Genki Momo for you.

Oh, you are my friend?! Sugoi!

There is still plenty of helium left.

Enigmatic look on Momo’s face.

“Stop, stop!” Momo shouts when waves are throwing her powerfully. But the sea didn’t stop.

There is one word: Adorable.

Berryz Art – Geki Haro 5

Berryz Kobo has just finished performing their 5th Gekiharo Stage Play “Berryz Kobo vs. Berryz Kobo” and in relation to that Maasa and Miya drew this time pictures on that play.

This is Maasa’s drawing and here you can see the character which Miya was playing in that stage play. Maasa there herself on the upper right corner.

And here is Maasa’s character in Miya’s picture. That girl really looks like Maasa! I guess it’s those lips and hair that make her so Maasa.

Christmas is coming

Soon it’s Christmas season again. Actually stores here in Helsinki are busy decorating their seasonal windows these days. And grand opening of downtown’s Christmas Street is sceduled to happen during coming sunday.

So I think it’s pretty good reason now to take our Berryz Kobo TimeMachine and go to the year end of 2004.

I guess these pictures are from GirlPOP magazine. It looks like BK girls are having their pre-Christmas party in a van or a bus. I must point out that on the background you can see Finland’s national flag. Kakkoii!

Do you want to make Momo cry?

Momo is almost starting to cry. Do you know why she is so sad? It’s because you, our dear blog members & visitors, do not post any comments here.

Look how sad she is. We don’t love to see her in that kind of mood. Do we? And Momo would like to see lot of commenting here. If you do as Momo wishes she would be very happy.

Momo, please smile!

Bye bye money, hello happiness!

Categories: Berryz Kobo, Buono!.

Today and earlier last week I got four parcels from Japan & Hong Kong. They contained some old as well as just released Berryz Kobo (and Buono!) items. Little by little I’m growing my BK collection. I was very lucky to get those posters, PB and concert DVD from Yahoo Japan Auctions with a help from Shigehiro.

PICTURES FOR MY WALL

BK Live Tour 2005 Shoka Hatsu Tandoku – Marugoto. Stone faced Chii and cute faced Rii.

BK Concert Tour 2005 Aki – Switch On! In the end of this tour Maiha graduated. Another thing that makes this tour legendary was Miya’s & Rii’s duet in “Today is my Birthday”.

BK Summer Concert Tour 2006 “Natsu Natsu! – Anata wo Suki ni Naru San Gensoku!” At that time Captain was still the shortest one. And there they were already: Chii and her stunning lower extremities.

BK Concert Tour 2006 Haru – Nyoki Nyoki Champion! Thank God Chii is not wearing those awful hats any more!

BOOK FOR MY BOOKSHELF

BK’s first photo book was released in spring 2005. This is a hard-bound edition with nice poster.

Book full of beautiful photographs.

AUDIO AND VIDEO FOR MY EARS AND EYES

Upper left hand corner there is BK’s first concert DVD: 2004 Natsu First Concert Tour – W Standby! Double You & Berryz Kobo! Below that is new MADAYADE ltd edit single with DVD and then there are also two editions of Buono!s RottaRa single.

I had to have both versions of RottaRa single because of those different covers. These both have also collector’s cards included.

DAYS FOR MY LIFE

Got this BK 2009 calendar finally in the beginning of last week. Although it’s cool as all BK calendars have been, it’s not as cool as this year’s calendar is.
