New Berryz Kobo TV RADIO show
This is my dream come true. Well, at least one of my thousands dreams. When Haro Moni was still running I already had a wish that also BK should have their own TV show. And now it’s gonna happen. This Friday starts a new half an hour long BK TV show “Thrilling! Berryz Kingdom” on SKY PerfecTV! It’s aired every Friday night starting at 11.00 pm.
Even more exicited I am because regular hosts of this show are going to be Miya and Chii. And if that’s not enought for you let me tell that associate host of TBK is no one else than Rii. All my favorite Berries in charge. Happy happy joy joy!
Zannen desu! I think I’ve misunderstood this thing. “Thrilling! Berryz Kingdom” is a RADIO SHOW. So we’re still waiting for BK TV show. Don’t keep us waiting too long any more.

Hah ha, I’m so embarrassed. Maybe I should check more often news section from Hello! Project’s Official site. “Thrilling! Berryz Kingdom” was aired yesterday and hosts of this radio show are MIYA and YURINA. So no Chii participating this show. And co-host RII was also there in the first episode.

These official Up-Front Agency collector’s photographs of Maasa cover time period from the beginning of Berryz Kobo to the end of group’s second year 2005. First two photos are from photo sessions of BK’s first single “Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai” and in the last one Maasa has “Gag 100-Kaibun Aishite Kudasai” outift on her.
These two years were hectic time for this just formed new H!P group. Nine singles, two albums and one mini album were released during this time period. Berryz girls were learning their lessons of idol business fast and along that they were also growing up fast. From this selection of photos you can see how Maasa child “transforms” to a bright teenager girl.

Next Berryz member’s birthday is getting closer and closer. Now it’s Maasa Sudo and her 17th Birthday on 3rd of July. Countdown for her B-day stars now!
It’s almost hard to believe that Maasa is soon only 17 years old as she has been kind of mother figure to all other BK girls. Maasa is not even the oldest girl of the group because Saki, Momo and Chii all are a bit older than she. Maybe it’s Maasa’s size and coolness that makes her The Mom of Berryz Kobo.

As we look back on Maasa’s first steps into idol world we see that when she was a kid she already had a bit massive shoulders and arms. I guess we could say that “It’s in her genes” although I don’t remember I’ve ever seen any pictures of her parents.
When Hello! Project Kids auditions started in spring 2002 Maasa was still 9 years old and when she become a H!P Kid she had turned to 10. This first clip intruduces us young Maasa singing Chu Chu Natsu Party in H!P Kids audition. Maasa’s part is in the end of the clip.

This second clip contains H!P Kids self-introductions taped on 18th of July 2002. (You can watch this clip by clicking video screen again so that YouTube page opens in new window.)

And this last clip has episodes 31-35 from Minimoni Tour TV serie. Maasa with Yurina there riding rollercoaster and doing some other stuff. (You can watch this clip by clicking video screen again.)

There is one great blog which mission is to translate Momoko related stuff from Japanese into English. Momocore has for exmaple Momoko no Puripuri Princess radio show, magazine interview and blog translations. You can even get some PuriPuri Princess shows (mp3) from this blog. Link to this blog also at our blogroll.
Don’t foreget to visit every Friday to Berryz Kobo’s Beritsuu! radio show podcast page where you can download their latest show (mp3). Also this at our blogroll.
It seems that ボーノマンの・・・ blog is not the most active one but nevertheless there is some Berryz and Buono! translations from Kindai Magazine.

Celebrating young Maasa »« Do The Pirameki-no
Do you happen to know what’s the most hottest top dance of the day?
Pirameki-no is a Japanese TV show for children. Recently Berryz Kobo has appeared on that show in “Questions and answers” section where show’s host is giving funny answers to the mails kids have sent in. What makes this part of the show so hilarious is that programs quests dance short funny dance and read those childrens mails.
Actually this song they are dancing and singing to is so addictive that I find myself humming it all the time. Just can’t get it out of my head. By the way, choreography for this song is quite easy to learn. Just follow our girls and do The Pirameki-no.

Let’s take a closer look how to do The Pirameki-no with Rii and Miya:

It’s fan art time again. I’ve not seen a flood of Seishun Bus Guide and Rival fan art coming yet but of course there is always some new pictures around when latest BK single comes out.
So here we have two quite different kind of pictures. Can you recognise who’s who in the Bus Guide fan art? And what about Rival picture? Much easier to identify girls I guess. That’s a very short mini skirt Miya wears there! The shortest one in the history of mankind?
