I think it's a deliberate design choice. Back in the days of film, you had to carefully alter lighting and exposure at the time of the shoot, but nowadays you can just use digital image post-processing to get that intense color saturation. (Those shoes! My eyes!!!)
Compare the outdoor shots, which look relatively washed-out. The members are actually wearing a normal amount of blush -- the imaging is merely exaggerating everything. Like ya do when ya luv someone too much.
(There may also be just a bit of blacklight fill used on the dance shot. Maybe.)
I decided I like it; it's different and funky and all the members are still gorgeous.
Wish list for future videos:
1. More Captain rapping and channelling a bit of her inner burriko.
2. More Miya wearing blood-red lipstick. Please.
