Today I went to Yahoo Japan Auctions and used search word “Berryz” as I almost always do. I was checking if there could be something “must have” for me. Then I saw in the beginning of search results quite interesting item. Actually it was a bunch of Berryz Kobo official collector’s photos. To be exact, there was over 1500 photos and two persons bidding that collection like hungry wolves.
I stayed there and watched how that bidding battle went on and on. Starting bid was Yen 12.000 and finally the winner got the whole collection with a Yen 30.500 bid. That’s about USD 336 or 249 Euros. It might sound high price but I think it’s quite decent sum of money when you think what that winner got with it. So much BK (and there is also some Maimi Yajima sets) Up-Front Agency / International photos, oldest from the beginning of BK. So there sure are many rare photos in that collection. A bit jealous I may be.
1500 was the estimated amount of the photos. That would mean around $0.22 per photo. It can be considered a good deal, especially if each pic is different..
.. but I’ll still say it was a waste of money, LOL.
