Berryz Kobo’s and C-ute’s collaboration single “Amazuppai Haru ni Sakura Saku” (release date November 9.) has a nice light pop tune with catchy chorus. Can you tell me why this song somehow reminds of a couple of AKB48 songs? I mean this could perfectly fit also to AKB48 or those other sub-or-what-ever groups they have. Is it because they are singing about cherry blossoming? Or is this song just so AKBish overall? Or am I just the only one who thinks this way?
“Amazuppai Haru ni Sakura Saku” is the ending theme song from the film “Ousama Game” and they have also made a nice graduation PV for this song. Special “Oh, how lovely you can be!” award goes to Risako Sugaya.
Although “Amazuppai” makes me happy even more I like another collaboration song “Busu ni Naranai Tetsugaku” (release date November 16.) sung by Hello! Project artists under the collective name Mobekimasu. This song is even more catchier than “Amazuppai”. We have still only 30 seconds CM for “Busu” but I’m quite convinced that the whole song is great and is going to be played frequently at least by me.
CM clip is not as promising as the actual song. Video is once again those low budget PVs which is kind of trademark for the Hello! Project prmotional videos. Sad but true. But. . . and this must be said. . . It’s nice to see all major H!P groups singing, laughing and having fun together. The high spiritted feeling in this PV makes even my critical mind happy. Sure not so bad after all.
