This official Berryz Kobo photo set is from 2009. Close-ups are cool, aren’t they. Look at those amazing big black eyes of Captain. And what about Rii’s eyes then? Looks almost like she is doing a cross-eye trick but might be that the light is only doing the trick. By the way, do you remember those costumes?

I would say, it’s Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama from one
of the two A-sides’s of Berryz Koubou’s 21st single,
titled “Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama/ Ryuusei Boy”,
released at 11.11.2009 ^^.
They all look really good, but Risakos photo is quite bad.
Most pics of Risako looks really better than this.
The light effect and the direkt view create a more scary than pretty pictue,
they would have to choose another shot.
My favorites are definetly Chii, Saki and Miya.
When Chinami starts to smile, I have to grin, it’s magic and everytime so beautifull
and we all know, smiling is good for you, so I could say Chii-pictures are healthy ^^.
As you said, these bottomless eyes of Saki, you have to stare and stare and you forgett time and awwww.
Captain don’t need to shout, she looks with this stunning eyes and everyone is like a puppet, ready to do everthing what she wants.
And of course Miya, because its Miya you know ^^.

@ Krey > There is one thing I disagree with you but after all you really can’t argue about these kind of subjective & personal tastes. I mean I love that photo of Rii because it’s not ordinary and unsurprising shot. Rii is doing something else than just smiling and being pretty. There is something really mischievious & intimate in that photo. Compared to other girls’ photos from this set Rii is almost like a rebel, breaking the “nice posing” rule. I just love that attitude. And as I’ve said so many times, Rii is so photogenic that it does not matter if she is sleeping or eating or sweating or what ever … because she is always lovely.
